This invention relates to a device and process for adjusting the position of a tool-holder head along an axis, the device and process concerning tool-holder heads mobile along an axis. The device comprises a tool-holder head which moves along a guiding means. A pulley, mounted to rotate freely on a shaft, fast with the tool-holder head, moves along a taut cable. A manoeuvring handle may be in mesh with the pulley in order to drive it, or may be moved away therefrom so as to be free to rotate on the shaft. |
