<p>PURPOSE:To connect an IC card with a memory card by inserting the IC card and the memory card in parallel on both sides of a printed board. CONSTITUTION:A portable terminal equipment is constituted by a left unit 21 and a right unit 22 and it can be opened/closed like a notebook. The insertion port 26 of the IC card is provided at the lower part of the side of the left unit 21 and the insertion port 27 of the memory card is provided in parallel at the upper side of the insertion port 26 of the IC card. Thus, the memory card and the IC card can simultaneously be inserted and they are in an overlap state in such a case. Thus, the IC card and the memory card can be inserted and connected and an occupied area comes to almost one card, namely, half a conventional area.</p> |
