PURPOSE:To enable paper feed corresponding to one line, one and a half line or two lines by a small motor, by rotating a cam only desired numbers of times at once by forming a structure for feeding a platen only over a min. paper feed amount at every one rotation of the cam by a pawl while providing a means for setting the rotation number of the cam. CONSTITUTION:A ratchet wheel 20 is secured to the rotary shaft 15 of a platen 1 while a pawl 23 reciprocally moving along the outer periphery of the ratchet wheel 20 by the cam 9 rotated by the driving force of a motor 4. In this case, the ratchet wheel 20 is rotated corresponding to one rotation of the cam 9 by the pawl 23 to set the rotation amount of a platen to a min. paper feed amount, pref., a 0.5 line feed amount. In addition, by providing the rotation number detector of the cam 9, the rotation number setting means thereof and the rotation number control means thereof, an amount for feeding paper at once is set to 2 times, three times or four times of the min. paper feed amount (0.5 line) to enable paper feed corresponding to one line, one and a half line or two lines. |
