<p>PURPOSE:To reduce damage for a tape by supporting a rotary roller on a fixed shaft and aligning the outer-most periphery of the rotary roller on the outside rather than the outer diameter of a flange when the rotary roller is inclined at a maximum to the fixed shaft by an automatic aligning pole bearing. CONSTITUTION:The second figure shows the details of an automatic aligning pole bearing 10. An inner wheel 10b and a pole 10c are similar to those of a normal radial pole bearing and there is no groove, however, for guiding the pole 10c on the inner face of an outer wheel 10a. Instead of the groove, the inner face is made spherical having a radius R setting a central point P on a central axis X-X of a fixed shaft 2. The radius R is a distance from the central axis X-X to the outer-most periphery of the pole 10c. Thus, the outer wheel 10a of the automatic aligning pole bearing 10 can be inclined at a wide angle with the central point P on the fixed shaft as a center. As the result, even when a tape 9 is loaded on a rotary roller 4 and moved upward during loading, the end part of the tape is not abutted to a flange 1.</p> |
