PURPOSE:To prevent exfoliation and dropout of rare earth magnetic powder and improve dimensional precision and corrosion resistance, by impregnating specified binder 2 whose chlorine content is lower than or equal to 100 weight ppm, in the air gap of a resin magnet obtained by setting the chlorine content of specified binder 1 to be 100 weight ppm. CONSTITUTION:Molded hardened object is obtained by using rare earth-iron based magnetic powder and binder 1 whose chlorine content is lower than or equal to 100 weight ppm. Said binder contains the following; epoxy resin which is solid at a normal temperature, hardener for epoxy resin which is inert at a normal temperature, and pyridine derivative which is hardening accelerator and has at least one hydroxy group in a molecule. In the air gap of the molded hardened object, binder 2 whose chlorine content is lower than or equal to 100 ppm is impregnated. Said binder contains epoxy resin having at least two epoxy groups in a molecule, (metha)crylate compound, imidazole compound, and radical polymerization initiator. A press molded object of composition composed of the rare earth magnetic powder and the binder 1 is heated, thereby hardening the binder 1. After that, the binder 2 is impregnated in the air gap of the molded hardened object, and heated and hardened. |
