PURPOSE:To attain the individual output of the copy of each window by rewriting temporarily the contents of a frame memory for a multi-window screen, issuing a hard copy request, and recovering the original contents of the frame memory after the reception of the hard copy request. CONSTITUTION:A computer 1 is connected to the microprocessor 5 of a CRT display device 3 via an input/output interface 4, and the input information is given to the microprocessor 5. When this input information requests a display, the microprocessor 5 draws the display data on a frame memory 6. Thus the drawing contents of the memory 6 are displayed on a CRT monitor 7. When the input information requests the input of coordinates, the microprocessor 5 outputs the cursor display position shown on the monitor 7 to the computer 1 via the interface 4. When a hard copy is requested, the hard copy is outputted to a hard copy terminal 11. |
