METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TWO INTERRRELATED TRANSPORT MEANS AND MACHINE THUS CONTROLLED, ESPECIALLY A PERSONAL BANKING MACHINE A method and personal banking machine is described by which two items such as cash and statement can be issued simultaneously through one and the same gate. The optimum point in time is determined and adaptively controlled so that the front edge of a statement touches a bundle of cash during issuing movement of the cash. Then both the cash and statement are moved together in their respective end positions. The method and the machine starts the statement transport after a certain monitored delay time DELTA STATEMENT. By calculating the time difference between the point in time at which the cash reaches its end position and the statement reaches its end position a new time delay DELTA STATEMENT is calculated for the next combined cash and statement issue operation.
