PURPOSE:To efficiently form a high density color image using a material having an excellent hue and excellent image stability by providing a layer containing a specific cyan dye on a support. CONSTITUTION:A layer containing a cyan dye represented by formula I is provided on a support. In the formula I, R<1> and R<2> are a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, an alkenyl group, an aralkyl group, an alkyl group, an aryloxy group, a cyano group, an acylamino group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, a sulfonylamino group, a ureido group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, a sulfonyl group, an acyl group or an amino group, A is a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic group which may be a fused ring, X is a hydroxyl group or a group represented by formula II (wherein R<3> and R<4> may be same or different and are an alkyl group and may have a substituent), m is an integer of 1-4 and n is an integer of 1-3. |
