PURPOSE:To make the giving/receiving of a parking ticket unnecessary and to work a parking lot unmanned all day long for 24 hours and open throughout the year by read-recognizing the number plate a passing vehicle automatically. CONSTITUTION:An automatic vehicle number reading device 1 to detect a vehicle to advance into a parking lot automatically and to recognize time and number plate information, a vehicle collating device 4 to collate whether the number plate information of the advanced vehicle is already detect-recorded or not, to judge as leaving when it is detect-recorded and to judge as entering when it is not so, a control arithmetic unit 5 to indicate a parking place to the disciriminated entering vehicle and to indicate a parking charge to the leaving vehicle except a parking contracted vehicle, a cash giving/receiving device 6 to execute the giving/receiving of the parking charge, a gate open/close control device 7 and a power source device 8 are provided. Thus, the parking lot can be made to work unmanned open throughout the year. |
