NEW MATERIAL:A heat-resistant pullulanase gene having a base sequence of the formula. USE:Mass-production of a heat-resistant pullulanase, etc. PREPARATION:Plasmid pTP1 is decomposed and integrated into plasmid pUC 118/119 and a single strand DNA is prepared using helper phage M13K07. The base sequence composed of 2371 base pairs is determined by the dideoxy method and the objective open reading frame composed of 1974 base pairs from the 249th ATG to the 2223th TAA is obtained.
