PURPOSE:To keep the top-bank quantity of a calender apparatus constant by comparing the delay response generated in an intermediate device through the change of resin supplying quantity and the predicted value of a lapse-time change in the top-bank quantity of a calender device to the actual value of the same top-bank quantity, and correcting the molten resin supplying quantity from the supplying device in accordance with the deviation. CONSTITUTION:A bank sensor 11 is provided for detecting the quantity of a calender top-bank 10, and the output of the sensor 11 is input into a calculating device 12. In the calculating device 12, the previously obtained delay response generated on a strainer 6 and conveyors 5, 7 and the predicted value of the calender top-bank quantity generated thereby is stored. The output of the calculating device 12 is inputted in a cut-strip width controlling device 13 and, by the same controlling device 13, the driving motor 4 of a cutter 3 is controlled. |
