PURPOSE:To enable an aramid film to be molded in a good yield into a configuration with the wide degree of freedom by performing a molding press under the gel condition of containing a swelling agent. CONSTITUTION:A para-orientation type aramid film is put into a process, after solvent is washed and removed in the manufacturing process, that it is wound round, for example, a bobbin 2 under the condition of containing a swelling agent of, at least, 50wt.% relative to the polymer constituting the film without drying, and the introduced into a bath provided in a film supplier, and further is immersed in the soaking liquid such as water that is not likely to damage the swelled condition of the film. The film is taken out of the bobbin 2 and then severed by means of a stationary blade 10, rotating blades 11, and the like and, finally, it is supplied into a molding press device as raw material film pieces corresponding to a molding.
