The portable milling machine mills is used for repair of cracks in masonry, surfaces etc. It has a stub-shaft (4) for a rotary milling cutter (5), protruding from the side of a housing (19). A shoe (6) at one end of the latter forms a stop, limiting the penetration depth of the cutter, while at the other end there are support rollers (9) at the sides. The shoe is fixed to an arm (8), pivoting at the other end on a roller shaft. Thus, the cutter is supported from the surface to be machined at three points, i.e. the shoe and the two rollers. The housing with the stub-shaft is hinged on the common axis (26) of the rollers. ADVANTAGE - Improved, high speed operation and simple dust removal.
