A device for conveying paper sheets provided with a conveying path for conveying paper sheets and an introducing path to join said conveying path and to guide paper sheets to be introduced into a conveying system of the device to said conveying path so that paper sheets may be conveyed while clamped with conveying members and kept upright in the conveying path, which is further provided with means formed on the bottom of said conveying path for separating and discharging foreign matters; and a device for recovering bank notes using said conveying device in the game house.
