<p>PURPOSE:To diffuse the sludge in a reaction tank and to improve the efficiency of a sludge treatment by executing long-time aeration of about 2-10 minutes only at the first time at the time of admitting the sewage to be treated into the reaction tank, then executing the intermittent aeration for a short period of <2 minutes. CONSTITUTION:The aeration is held stopped for the first T1 time, for example, 5-40 minutes after the start of the admission of the water to be treated into the reaction tank. The aeration is executed for the T2 time, for example, 2-10 minutes after said time. The sludge settled in the bottom of the reaction tank soars up in the sewage during the long-term aeration of this T2 time and the sludge is uniformly distributed into the sewage. The short-time aeration is executed for the T4 time, for example, <2 minutes after the above aeration. Further, the aeration is stopped for the T3' time. The long-time aeration is executed only in the aeration T2 of the first time to well bring the sludge into contact with the sewage so that the treatment capacity is increased and the propagation of filamentous fungi is well suppressed by the subsequent intermittent aeration of a short period.</p> |
