PURPOSE:To make a terminal free to facilitate changing a carbon brush by releasing the terminal from a biasing force from an elastic member through moving a through-bolt by the use of the action of a lever. CONSTITUTION:In order to change a carbon brush 1, it is necessary to remove a terminal 5 connected with the carbon brush. For that purpose, when a lever 16 is removed from a stopper 18, the lever 16 rotates clockwise, as shown in the drawing, by a through bolt-pin 12 pressed by a first spring 13, and the rotation of the lever 16 stops in a stage, where the large diameter part 12a of the through bolt-pin 12 is hit on the stepped part of a hole 11 for through bolt-pin, so that the lever is placed in the state of the lever 16a. In this state, as a second spring 15 does not bias the terminal 5 either, the terminal 5 is immediately removed from the through bolt-pin 12. Because changing of the carbon brush is conducted after the terminal has been made free in this manner, the terminal can be mounted and removed easily, changing of the terminal is simplified and the operating time for changing is shortened, and the time required for maintenance work can be reduced accordingly. |
