<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a video image of smooth moving regardless of a change in a reproduction time by reproducing a tape recorded at one frequency signal with a frequency of a signal system to be converted and converting a horizontal scanning line number of the reproduction signal into a horizontal scanning line number of the signal system to be converted. CONSTITUTION:The tape is reproduced by using a frequency signal of the television signal system to be converted at a reproduction means 1. The horizontal scanning line number of the reproduction signal is increased or decreased by using a scan converter 3 to match the horizontal scanning line number into that of the television signal system to be converted. Thus, the reproduction time is more or less changed with respect to the original reproduction time but it is not discriminated by human eyes and all original field pictures are entirely reproduced and a video image with smooth movement is obtained.</p> |
