PURPOSE:To simplify a timer for an interrupt processing by a method wherein in a drive (sub-heat) control of a recording head heat-reserving heater, the counting actions of a printing counter means and a waiting counting means for managing a heating element drive time and timings of various controls are conducted by a key interval interruption. CONSTITUTION:A key interval interruption based on a key timer 1A is accepted while a CPU 100 is conducting a document edition processing, a printing processing, and the like. In this state, various key input information inputted during the aforesaid processings are received by a key interval interruption. In addition, using this interrupt timing, timings of measuring a printing time and a waiting time are generated. Based on these measured times, various types of sub-heat (initial head, preheat, line heat, interval heat, and duty heat) controls, are performed. |
