PURPOSE:To reduce a complicated manual operation by selecting the optimum work station for the execution of a designated program, and outputting the execution result of a program to a designated output file. CONSTITUTION:A program execution work station selection means 2 recognizes the work station capable of executing the designated program from program execution information 6, and selects and designates the work station with the minimum load by retrieving work station load information 7. Thence, an input/ output data transfer start-up means 3 starts up a file transfer command, and transfers an input file designated by a program executor to a selected work station. A program start-up means 4 starts up the program by designating a transferred input file on a selected and designated work station. Finally, an output file which shows the execution result of the program is transferred to a requesting work station by the input/output data transfer start-up means 3. In such a way, an operation can be simplified.
