PURPOSE:To reduce the manual knowledge throwing-in work by automatically storing the diagnostic knowledge of an expert in a form of commands and their parameters thrown in from a terminal by the expert at the time of remote diagnosis of software fault. CONSTITUTION:The expert of fault diagnosis designates a table name of table design information 25 to refer to contents of fault information (memory dump information) 24 as the object and inputs a reference command to a display device 1. A display control part 2 decodes contents of the command, and a knowledge processing part 10 converts a transferred fault information retrieval condition to knowledge of a knowledge base 22. A data input/output processing part 13 extracts data in a required part from fault information 24, and the display control part 2 displays a picture on the display device 1. Contents of a table expressed by the expert are diagnosed, and decision of table contents is stored in diagnostic knowledge 21 by expert's selection on the menu picture. |
