PURPOSE:To attenuate crushing noise at the initiation of crushing coffee beans into powders by driving a driving gear with a controller through the half wave of an AC power source for a specified time from the crushing start of the coffee beans, and by driving the driving gear through the full wave for a residual time. CONSTITUTION:A vessel 5 for containing coffee beans inside, a cutter 4 for crushing the coffee beans to be fitted in the vessel 5 and to be driven by the driving gear 2 of a motor or the like, and a controller 10 for controlling the rotation of the driving gear 2, are arranged. Then, by the controller 10, via a diode for a specified time from start for crushing the coffee beans, the driving gear 2 is driven with the half wave of an AC power source and is driven with the full wave for a residual time. As a result, at the time of starting the crushing of the coffee beans, the cutter is driven at a low speed and the coffee beans can be crushed to be uniformly dispersed, and without lowering crushing efficiency, impact noise for crushing the coffee beans, the impact noise at the initiation of the crushing in particular can be lowered. |
