PURPOSE:To produce a thermal head small in size, low in cost, excellent in resolution and high in reliability, by providing resistors and conductors on green sheets of an insulator. CONSTITUTION:The green sheets 2 of an insulator 2 are punched out to a predetermined size, conductors patterns are printed thereon by using a conductor paste, and the paste is packed into through-holes 4' previously provided in the greem sheets. Resistor layers 1 are provided by printing on the green sheets provided with the conductors 4. A desired number of the green sheets thus treated, the green sheets provided with only the conductors and the through-holes and the green sheets alone are laminated on each other so that they can be wired in a three-dimensional manner, and are pressure-bonded by a heat press to obtain a green laminate body. The raw laminate body is cut into a predetermined form, is sintered through a binder-removing step, and external lead-out electrodes are provided by baking to obtain a laminate ceramic thermal head. |
