PURPOSE:To make the constitution of a circuit simple and inexpensive and to control the lives of consumables by comparing an exposing number corresponding to an electrostatic latent image with the set value of an exposing number per page, counting the number of printed sheets and counting the revolving speed of a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A comparator sets the exposing number per page in advance and compares the set value of the exposing number with the value of a counter. By counting the revolving speed of the photosensitive body 1, a user is informed that the life of a process kit 8 expires when the revolving speed showing the life which is set in advance is attained. The exchange time of regularly exchanged parts is set separately from the value of the life of the process kit 8, and the user is also informed of the exchange time of the regularly exchanged parts. Thus, the lives of the consumables are accurately controlled with the inexpensive and simple constitution and the exchange time of the regularly exchanged parts is also controlled. |
