PURPOSE:To save time until solving of abnormality and to carry out efficient copying operation by solving abnormality without displaying abnormality when the detected abnormality is one without any liability or when it is an abnormality without any safety problems. CONSTITUTION:Whether any abnormality is generated or not is judged based on signal from an abnormality detection means 1, and the abnormality data is stored in an abnormality data storing means 2C according to the judged result. Then, the liability of the abnormality is judged based on the abnormality data stored in the abnormality data storing means 2C, and the safety of the abnormality is judged by a safety judgement means 2e according to the judged result. Furthermore, when the detected abnormality is one without any liability and is an abnormality without any safety problems, the abnormality is controlled to be solved without carrying out abnormality display. Thus, a state can be returned to one where copying can be carried out without carrying out abnormality display, and a greatly efficient copying operation with savings in time can be carried out. |
