An energy saving device for running a first electrical load from a low voltage/high current source and also one or more additional electrical loads from the low voltage/high current source, said device including n transformers, where n is the number of additional electrical loads, the primary windings of the n transformers being connected in series in either the live line or the neutral line of the low voltage/high current source, the n additional electrical loads being connected across the respective secondary windings of the n transformers, such that each load n is effectively operated from a high voltage/low current source, whereby the power consumption of all said electrical loads is less than the normal power consumption of said first electrical load. |
