SILANE-CROSSLINKED POLYETHYLENE COMPOSITION

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having excellent heat resistance and abrasion resistance and useful for sliding member, etc., by crosslinking a specific PE based mixture in the presence of a silanol condensation catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition obtained by crosslinking a mixture obtained by adding 20-50 pts.wt. ultrahigh molecular weight PE having 2500000-4500000 number-average molecular weight and 20-50 pts.wt. crosslinked PE powder having >=95% degree of crosslinking and 50-300mum average particle diameter to 100 pts.wt. silane-grafted straight-chain low density PE in the presence of a silanol condensation catalyst such as dibutyltin dilaurate.
