<p>PURPOSE:To seal the inside of a pipe and exhaust extra air to the outside by consisting of a cap body with a vent fitted to the opening of a pipe terminal, the first sealer in a detachable manner in the vent and the second sealer to cover the vent and mounting a sealing member. CONSTITUTION:A cap 10 for a pipe terminal is mounted to a main pipe 1 to seal the inside of the main pipe 1. The cap body 11 has a vent 12 punched, in which the first sealer 13 is inserted in a detachable manner. An O-ring 14 as a sealing member is mounted on the outer periphery of the first sealer 13. A male screw portion 15 is formed on the cap body 11 to thread into the female screw portion 17 of the second sealer 16. The second sealer 16 has the contact portion provided with an O-ring groove in which the O-ring 18 as the sealing member is mounted. It is thus possible to seal the opening end of the pipe terminal in good condition and exhaust residual air to the outside successfully.</p> |
