The solution includes a base electrolyte, encompassing concentrated mineral acid such as phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, perchloric acids, or mixtures thereof, and at least one additive in the form of polyphosphate added thereto for precluding etching of the metal surface of the workpiece to be polished. |
