PURPOSE:To prevent loss of data due to the reduction of the voltage of an incorporated battery by transferring data of characters or the like stored in a storage device to store and preserve it in the case of the reduction of the supply voltage to a certain value or lower. CONSTITUTION:A supply voltage detector is provided which detects and monitors the voltage of a power line 4 through which electricity is supplied from a battery 3 to each device. If the battery voltage is reduced by consumption of the battery 3 and the voltage on the power line is reduced to a certain value or lower, the supply voltage detector 5 sends a signal to a controller 7, and the controller 7 transfers and stores data in a storage device 10 to an external storage device 9 by this signal. Thus, data is stored and preserved in the external storage device 9 and does not disappear even when the battery voltage is continuiously reduced thereafter. |
