PURPOSE:To exactly detect a multipath and to prevent malfunction by providing a means to obtain a multipath detection signal by detecting the pilot signal component of a multipath signal. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a phase locked loop(PLL) system stereo demodulation circuit composed of a voltage controlled oscillator and a phase comparator, and a pilot signal removing circuit 3 to remove a pilot signal to be detected only in a stereo broadcasting, a level detector 5 is connected to the output of the pilot signal removing circuit 3, and the output of the level detector 5 is defined as an output terminal. The level detector 5 detects the pilot signal level of a delay component generated at an output terminal 4 of the pilot signal removing circuit 3 by a multipath signal, and an output 6 of the level detector 5 is defined as the multipath detection signal. Thus, the presence/absence of the multipath signal is exactly detected, and malfunction caused by changing the level of a received signal is eliminated as well. |
