- The assembly device which can be adapted to elements, particularly shelves, comprises multiface uprights (26) and linking bars (16), which are secured on the uprights by simple nesting, in which at least one face (26) of the uprights is equipped with at least one orifice (24, 25) for the introduction of an assembly projection (19, 20) made at the ends of the bars (16), assembly being effected by the combination of a nesting of the buttonhole type and a locking means (9) shaped on the face (26) of the upright on either side of the said orifice (24, 25), the said device being characterised in that the said bars (16) are hollow at least on their end parts and in that the said assembly projection (19, 20) are distinct from the bars and equipped with a part (21) capable of nesting and being blocked forcibly in the hollow end of a bar (16). <IMAGE>
