PURPOSE:To prevent a cut edge from being frayed and to perform clear multicolor printing by coating the surfaces of woven fabric and nonwoven fabric made of inorganic fiber with the fray preventive bonding composition and providing the coated film of nonhydrophilic coating or a printed later thereon. CONSTITUTION:Woven fabric and nonwoven fabric made of glass fiber are fixed with fray preventive coating by a spraying technique or a screen printing technique and dried. As the utilized fray preventive coating, aq. vinyl emulsion e.g. aq. emulsion of vinyl resin such as (meth)acrylic acid ester, vinyl acetate and ethylene/vinyl acetate is suitable. Thereby deterioration due to fraying is not caused in a cut edge and lamination due to pattern match is enabled. Fiber fixed with this fray preventive is coated or printed with nonhydrophilic coating or ink. Printing is ordinarily performed by offset printing. However in the case of a continuous pattern, gravure is suitable. |
