PURPOSE:To simplify an outline of an apparatus even if a container must be separately mounted from a board by reciprocating a positioning unit itself between a component receiving position near a container and a component delivering position near the board. CONSTITUTION:An X-Y stage 90 is also provided in a container 80, and a supply head 100 is mounted therein. A first image sensing unit 111 and a second image sensing unit 112 are mounted at a mounting head 30, and a third image sensing unit 113 is disposed near a conveyor 50. A board 1 is coated with an adhesive material at a component mounting position in a previous step, and positioned at the conveyor 50. The head 30 which picks up a component from a tape component supply unit 70 or a positioning unit 120 is moved to predetermined coordinates position on the board 1 by the operation of an X-Y stage 20, and then moved down to transfer the component to the board. The positional deviation of the circuit pattern of the board 1 is checked by recognizing a reference mark by the unit 111, and corrected for the movement of the stage 20. |
