PURPOSE:To facilitate the connecting work of the link of a door lock mechanism part and an outside handle by temporarily mounting the outside handle to a door inner panel, and performing the connection with the link before a door inner assembly is mounted to a door outer panel. CONSTITUTION:A door inner assembly 26 is constructed by mounting a window regulator 36 and a window glass 16 to a door inner board 28 as well as mounting a door lock mechanism part 38 to it. An outside handle 20 is temporarily mounted to the door inner assembly 26. Another end of a link 40 whose one end is connected with the operating knob 24 of the outside handle 20 is inserted into the connecting hole 39 of a connecting arm 41 projected from the lock mechanism part 38 and connected. Further, bracket parts 28A formed on the door inner board 28 are mounted to a door outer panel 12 with screws. After that, the round holes 44 of the door outer panel 12 and female screws 42 are placed on the same axis, and force the screws 46 to penetrate into the round holes 44 from the outside of a vehicle to threadedly engage with the female screws 42. |
