PURPOSE: To make ink permeate into a tanned skin and to form an image which is very clear and does not deteriorate even when the surface is rubbed and which can hold the clearness for a long time, by a method wherein a tanning process for water repellency is conducted and, a design drawing to be transferred being put on the tanned skin, a pressure and heat are applied thereto. CONSTITUTION: Prior to entering a printing process, a water-repellent tanning material is applied on the surface of a skin so that ordinary ink may not be adsorbed. On the other hand, a design drawing to be transferred is prepared on specific paper with specific ink. The specific ink mentioned herein vaporizes directly from a state of solid without passing through a state of liquid, and the paper which holds such ink therein is called specific paper. A stage of transfer of the ink is operated thereafter and the ink is transferred from the specific paper onto a part to be printed, by a transfer machine, with a pressure and heat, so that an image be formed thereon. The specific ink vaporizes and permeates into the tanned material and it forms an integrated print of a new type. |
