PURPOSE:To obtain a heat transfer sheet which is superior for both bondability and releasability and eliminate resolving property of printing image and ground staining by a method wherein a heat transfer sheet and a material to be transferred are separatably adhered by an adhesive layer, and the rigidity of the material to be transferred is specified. CONSTITUTION:The title heat transfer sheet is a heat transfer sheet for which a heat transfer sheet A and a material to be transferred B are separatably adhered by an adhesive layer C. The rigidity of the material to be transferred is kept in a range of 20-2500gf/cm, and preferably the surface smoothness of the material to be transferred is kept in a range of 5-500sec, and the basis weight of the material to be transferred is kept in a range of 20-500g/m<2>. As the result, the heat transfer sheet and a paper are firmly adhered, and wrinkles or slippage are not generated, and the carrying property is good. In addition, after heat transfer, the heat transfer sheet and paper are easily separated, and at a transfer area, an ink layer is accurately transferred to the paper, and at a non-transfer area, the ink layer is never transferred, and a heat transfer sheet which does not stain paper can be obtained. |
