PURPOSE:To enable performance (spiccato, staccato, and tounging) with a bouncing sound by combining a performance operation element which deforms elastically and a performance operating means and making them contact and leave each other intermittently. CONSTITUTION:When a stick 1 is moved in contact with a performance operating surface 3, its moving speed is sent to a speed detecting circuit 12. When the circuit 1 as the performance operation element is struck on the operating surface 3 by, for example, bouncing, a strain gauge in the stick 1 detects elastic deformation and supplies detected pressure to a pressure detecting circuit 11. When a key 7 of a keyboard 9 is pressed, the position of the key (i.e. pitch) is detected by a key switch circuit 13. Then the detection signals of the circuits 11 - 13 are sent through a bus 21. Then the output signal of a musical sound signal generating circuit 14 is sent to a sound system 19 to generate a musical sound. Further, a CPU 17 receives a timing signal from a timer 18 and performs a timer interrupt process. Thus, the bouncing musical sound can be generated as well as a continuous sound. |
