The system activates the head of a projectile (2) for ground to ground use. It includes using a wire (3) which runs from a directional unit. The spacing sensor which is next to the projectile head detonator, can be rendered ineffective during the flight of the projectile, by a signal which is given once a particular target area has been reached.
