A safety casing for nuclear power stations contg. radioactive plant components, provided with an over-pressure outlet connecting to atmosphere via a filter. The filter arrangement includes a Venturi-cleanser and tank with cleaning fluid. The Venturi-cleanser connects to outlet, whilst the top of tank has a gas outlet line connecting to chimney. A separator arranged in cleansing fluid of tank is fitted with a liq. outlet into tank. Gas distributor fed by Venturi-cleanser is also fitted in tank. A separator is arranged between gas outlet line and chimney having a liq.-outlet to tank. A mixing-jet is fitted in gas outlet line to mix exhaust medium with ambient air. Venturi-cleanser is supplied with cleansing fluid via jet-pump. Small particulate matter of less than 1 micron present in outlet medium is prevented from escaping into the atmos. The cleansing fluid also facilitates adsorption of iodine.
