PURPOSE:To easily transfer a transfer image such as a desired character or figure on a predetermined transfer sheet by forming an ink image on the transfer sheet having a light reflecting layer using a thermal transfer recording apparatus and transferring the transfer sheet having the ink image formed thereto to an article to be printed such as cloth under heating and pressure. CONSTITUTION:A reflecting layer 16 is provided to a polyester film base material 11 through release paper and a hot melt adhesive layer 14 composed of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer is further provided to the reflecting layer 16 to form a transfer sheet 20a. Next, an ink image is thermally transferred to the transfer sheet 20a at environmental temp. of 10-35 deg.C by a thermal transfer type tape writer to obtain a transfer image 31. Subsequently, the print sheet 30a having the transfer image 31 formed thereto is pressed to a handkerchief by a hot stamper to complete a reflective print image on cloth. The reflective print image thus formed has excellent quality generating no blur or collapse. |
