The liner is made of two foils joined at the edges, with a drain or filling spout, near one end. The flat liner is first folded into a tapering shape, narrowing away from the spout and rolled towards the spout. The rolled liner is secured by end tapes and is introduced through the tank hatch. By holding the spout, the liner is inflated by the filling and unrolls to line the inside of the tank.
