<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the small-scale submersible sewage cleaning device of simple structure by arranging a screen, sand settling chamber, flow straightening chamber, catalytic oxidation chamber packed with a filter medium and submersible suction pump in series practically along the water bottom. CONSTITUTION:The catalytic oxidation chamber 4 packed with a cylindrical filter medium 7 has buoyancy and is difficult to sink. However, since the chamber is sucked by a submersible pump 5 from the screen side, the pressure in the chamber is made negative, a part of the screen 1 of the device A is exposed, the device is successively sunk in water to the pump side and set along the water bottom WB as a whole. Sewage is passed through the sand settling chamber 2 to remove easy-to-settle SS. The sewage flow toward the oxidation chamber 4 is straightened by the hole 8a of the flow straightening chamber 3. The sewage is passed through the oxidation chamber 4, SS is collected, and the org. matter is oxidized and decomposed.</p> |
