Control for dosing system - monitors pump pulses to compute dosing rate and detects pressure fluctuations
摘要
The fluid to be dosed into a system (5) is pumped by a control pump (1) through a doising tube (3). The pressure pulses in the pipe are monitored by a sensor (6) linked to the process controller (13). Loss of fluid is detected by changes in the pulse amplitude and the control can thus switch off the pump. The pipe is fitted with a venting valve (14) to remove vapour locks. The pulse detection system has a piezo electric sensor, or a membrane switch. A simple electronic filtering control and a programed control complete the processor. The amount of fluid dispensed into the system is measured by simple counters in the processor. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple dosing system fail-safe operation. Water preparation for swimming pool contg. Chlorine and hydrochloric acid portions.
