The stacking container for loose bulk materials and fluids has a lid resting in a z-shaped upper edge of the container (2) so as to substantially close it without a separate seal. The lid edge (3) and the container edge (2) are pref. designed opening conically upwards so that a sealing face (4) is produced by pressure on the container lid. The base can be funnel-shaped and provided with a fold-up lower closure lid or with another closure device. USE/ADVANTAGE - Easier filling and emptying of stacking conveyor.
