Stackable transport containers are fastened to each other by a catch which can be released when required. Each container has a socket in one corner which receives a conical locking element (16) attached to the corner of the container which is stacked on the lower container. The locking element is held in the locked position by a spring (18). The lock can be released by means of a key (205) which is inserted into the lock housing and rotates the locking element against the force of the locking spring. USE/ADVANTAGE - Stackable containers which can be fastened to each other with a releasable catch.
