<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the occurrence of non-display part which causes the deterioration of image quality by fitting a screen on a housing with the screen surface part on the incident side of projecting light, and also providing a means for projecting and displaying the optical image of an optical image forming part on the whole surface of the screen part on the observation side. CONSTITUTION:The screen 600 of a projection type display device 700 constituting the device is fitted on the housing 505 with the screen surface part on the incident side of the projecting light, and also, the device is provided with the means for projecting and displaying the optical image of the optical image forming part on the whole surface of the screen part on the observation side on the screen 600. Thus, even in the case a large number of the projection type display devices 700 are arranged in a matrix state, the non-display part on the matrix part does not occur, so that the display device of high image quality and provided with a large screen can be obtained.</p> |
