<p>PURPOSE:To shorten a traffic line for operators and robots and take out commodities to efficiently in warehouses by putting commodities in shelves at mutually adjacent coordinate positions so as to be collected in derivery groups. CONSTITUTION:When group number G commodities are warehoused, operators input the a warehousing number I and the group number G through an input means 11, so that a memory means 12 reads the number G and memorizes it, and further memorizes the coordinate when the number G commodities are first warehoused to output the memory to a computing means 13. Next, the computing means 13 computes the coordinate of warehousing shelf 1 next to a starting point shelf # and checks whether there is room in the shelf 1 or not. If the shelf 1 is vacant, a warehousing judgement means 14 judges that the commodities can be put in the shelf 1, and outputs the coordinate of the shelf 1 to an indicating means 16 such as a CRT so that operators can put the commodities in the shelf 1. If the shelf 1 is occupied, a search for an empty shelf is made in sequence from the closest position to the shelf # and clockwise around the shelf # until that shelf is found, so that all the same group commodities can be put together in adjacent shelves around the shelf #.</p> |
