PURPOSE:To store voice information in a memory efficiently with a small circuit scale by providing a voice information storage part and a write control part which writes no-voice compressed information, generated by a no-voice compressed information generation part, in a voice information storage pat as voice information successively to voice information right before a no-voice section corresponding to the no-voice compressed information. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a no-voice information detection part 21, the voice information storage part 23, and the control part 24 which performs control so that the no-voice compressed information generated by the no-voice compressed information generation part 22 is written in the voice information storage part 23 as the voice compressed information successively to the voice information right before the no-voice section corresponding to the no-voice compressed information. Then, when the no-voice information detection part 21 detects the no-voice section in the voice information, the no-voice compressed information generation part 22 compresses the no-voice-section information to generate no-voice compressed information. The write control part 24 writes this no-voice-section information in the voice information storage part 23 successively to the information on a voiced part right before the no-voice section. Consequently, the use efficiency of a voice storage memory can be increased with the small-scale circuit constitution. |
