SYNCHRONIZATION METHOD BETWEEN BASE STATIONS IN DIGITAL MOBILE PORTABLE TELEPHONE SYSTEM OF TIME DIVISION MULTIPLEX/TIME DIVISION DUPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent collision due to deviation of a synchronization timing of different time slots by synchronizing a synchronization timing generated independently by each base station with a clock obtained by multiplying or dividing a frequency of a commercial power supply fed locally to the base station. CONSTITUTION:A timing pulse generated by a clock oscillation circuit 304 is generated independently individually for each base station. A clock based on a frequency of a commercial power supply from a power supply section 350 supplying a power supply locally to the base station subjected to multiplication and division is inputted to the clock oscillation circuit 304, and the clock oscillation circuit 304 generates and outputs a timing pulse whose synchronization between base stations based on the inputted clock. Thus, collision due to deviation in synchronization timings of different time slots used by each base station is prevented.
