摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To always obtain the optimum equalizer characteristic by setting control data in accordance with a travel speed detection signal at a value by which a control signal setting a resistance value that becomes the equalizer characteristic optimum for relative speed between a magnetic tape and a magnetic head can be outputted. CONSTITUTION:The number of pulses of a CLK signal inputted with an FG signal with the number of pulses in accordance with rotating speed is counted, and a count value is outputted to a control signal output circuit 4. The count value is inputted to each address terminal of a ROM in the output circuit 4 as a signal, and the control signal with voltage level in accordance with the control data is outputted from the ROM. The control signal is inputted to the control terminal 3a of an electronic volume 3, and the volume 3 changes a variable resistor 3c to the resistance value in accordance with the voltage level of the control signal. Thereby, the optimum equalizer characteristic can be obtained in this reproducing equalizer circuit since the resistance value can be changed by the electronic volume 3 following the change of the travel speed of the magnetic tape.</p>
